A Heartfelt Thank You: Our Staff & Faculty Power Days of Giving!

The numbers are in, and the results of last week’s Days of Giving are nothing short of remarkable. Each school met its individual participation goal, unlocking thousands of dollars in challenges & matches to support our work. But at the end of the day, it was the incredible showing from our own L&C staff and faculty that truly defined the spirit of the campaign.

This year, we set an ambitious goal of 300 staff and faculty donors. We are incredibly proud to share that we surpassed the challenge with 316 participants! Your generosity didn’t just help us reach a number, it reached every corner of campus, providing vital support for everything from student clubs to law clinics, from the Bridge the Gap scholarship to the student emergency fund. Your participation sends a powerful message to our students and alumni that those who work here believe deeply in the mission of Lewis & Clark.

Internal Challenge Results

Our campus leaders put some fun (and funds) on the line to encourage participation, and the results show just how much heart went into this:

• Advancement: Achieved 100% participation! VP Josh Walter’s challenge was met, meaning the team has a lunch party and massages in their future.
• CAS Academic: Dean Bruce Suttmeier’s challenge was met! With 91 donors, they raised $12,671.30.
• Finance & Ops: The team contributed a total of $1,290.70 which CFO Andrea Dooley will match in full.
• Student Life: The team gave a total of $585.10 to the Student Emergency Fund, matched dollar-for-dollar by VP Ben Meoz.
• Admissions & Financial Aid: The team gave a total of $456.50 which will be matched by VP Eric Staab.
