A Refresh Is Making Waves

Big news from the pool deck! Our trusty swimming pool has given us years of cannonballs, quiet laps, and echoing splashes—but it’s ready for a well-earned glow-up. The final renovation phase that we’ve been completing over the last three years begins April 6th!

Behind the scenes, we’ve learned a few things about how the pool was originally built. The fiberglass surface along the bottom has begun to delaminate (a fancy way of saying it’s separating and not playing nice anymore). At the same time, some of the drains and drain piping are a bit undersized for the job they’ve been heroically trying to do all these years.

So rather than patching and hoping for the best, we’re diving in to make meaningful improvements that will keep this pool in great shape for the long haul.

What’s Changing?

  • The aging fiberglass interior will be replaced with a durable plaster finish that’s better suited for long-term performance.
  • Drains and drain piping will be corrected so water can flow the way it was always meant to.
  • The diving boards will be removed as part of this project.
  • The length of the pool will be extended to meet USA Swimming and NCAA standards.

In short: the pool is getting stronger, safer, and easier to maintain.

What This Means for You

Work begins April 6. This project will be hard to miss. There will be equipment, construction noise, and the occasional whiff of exhaust from the machinery doing the heavy lifting. It may look a little chaotic at times—but it’s all part of building a better pool experience.

We appreciate your patience while this work is underway. When it’s complete, you’ll have a refreshed pool designed to perform better, last longer, and be ready for many more seasons of swimming, splashing, and enjoying that calm, warm, year-round pool environment.

Stay tuned—this is one renovation worth making a splash about.
