Jessica Peterson

Graduate Student

Gantenbein 034

Born and raised in Michigan, Jessica moved to Seattle after earning her BA in English from Northern Michigan University. While enjoying the mountains and live music that western Washington has to offer, she explored a variety of paths, having worked in education, baking, and floral design. Ultimately, she realized that she needed to find a place to funnel her compassion, and decided to seek a career as a therapist. She is currently enrolled in Lewis & Clark’s Graduate School of Education and Counseling, pursuing a Master’s in Professional Mental Health Counseling.

As a Career Services Graduate Assistant, Jessica is happy to support the day-to-day functions of the office and connect students, alumni, and employers with each other and her colleagues. She is a frequent contributor to the Career Services Blog and assists with career programming and recruitment events and postings. To reach her, please email or call 503.768.6608.
