Oregon State Bar’s “Making a Difference: Mentoring New Lawyers”
On September 29, 2011, the Oregon State Bar presented “Making a Difference: Mentoring New Lawyers.” OLI is pleased to offer this program to help further the goal of the Oregon State Bar’s New Lawyer Mentoring Program to provide new bar members one-on-one guidance on elements of a highly competent practice while promoting the professionalism, civility, and collegiality that make Oregon among the best places in the country to practice law. This seminar provides guidance for mentors to facilitate meaningful and constructive mentoring relationships with their new lawyers. In addition to a program overview by the Honorable Paul J. De Muniz, several areas of particular importance to discuss with new lawyers are reviewed: professionalism, ethics hot spots, and law practice management resources. Viewing of this program is complimentary. The program has been approved for 1.25 General CLE, 1.25 Ethics, and .75 Access to Justice credits. Click here for video.
