Join the International Law Society and Jeremiah Centrella, Deputy General Counsel at Mercy Corps, for a discussion on Mercy Corps’ work. Mercy Corps is a global humanitarian aid and development organization distinguished for its devotion to innovative and high impact programs. Its mission is to alleviate suffering, poverty and oppression by helping people build secure, productive and just communities. Mercy Corps is based in Portland, Oregon with extensive operations in 42 countries, including countries facing some of the world’s gravest humanitarian and development challenges. Jeremiah’s practice at Mercy Corps is limited only be the breadth and scope of Mercy Corps’ operations. Jeremiah joined Mercy Corps in early 2010. Prior to Mercy Corps he was In-House Counsel at Columbia Helicopters, the global industry leader in heavy-lift helicopter operations, leasing and maintenance based in Aurora, Oregon. He received is JD with honors from Willamette University College of Law in 2007 and his BA in Political Economics from the Colorado College in 2002. Jeremiah grew up on a river in Oregon’s coastal mountain range.
