Professor Hessler Discusses the Rise of Animal Law in Science Magazine

The April, 2011 edition of Science magazine includes a lengthy article addressing “The Rise of Animal Law.”  The piece asks, “Will growing interest in how the legal system deals with animals ultimately lead to changes for researchers?”  We say yes!

Clinical Professor & Animal Law Clinic Director Kathy Hessler is featured in the article, along with a few of our Summer Intensive Animal Law Program professors, including Joyce Tischler, Jonathan Lovvorn (LL.M. ‘01), and Steven Wise.
