In mid-October, the Center for Animal Law Studies at Lewis & Clark Law School, the Animal Legal Defense Fund, and the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund at Lewis & Clark Law School hosted the 24th annual Animal Law Conference. This year, we were pleased to take the conference on the road to Pace University’s downtown New York City campus. With an audience of over 300, attendees had the opportunity to hear from over 30 nationally and internationally renowned presenters speaking on a host of relevant topics ranging from farmed animal litigation to military working dogs, and from aquatic animals to constitutional law.
