The Hilt offers a unique selection of bar food with several good beers on tap. If you are vegetarian and tired of the usual veggie burger, try the roasted zucchini garbanzo burger. It has a unique flavor and texture and, with a side of fries, is more than filling. Also worth checking out: the margarita pizza and falafel. I’ve heard mixed reviews about calamari, but I wouldn’t know since I don’t eat calamari.
The Hilt is relatively cheap (nothing on the menu is over $9). Happy hour is from 4-7 pm Mon-Sat and all day Sunday. You can get a pint for $2.75 and plenty of food for $5 and under. If you haven’t checked out The Hilt, it is certainly worth a stop.
