Steve Kallick
Steven Kallick '83 is is the director of the International Boreal Conservation Campaign for the Pew Charitable Trusts in Philadelphia. Previously he was Pew's program officer for forest programs and managed a portfolio of two dozen grants in the United States and Canada worth million. Prior to joining Pew Charitable Trusts, Steven was campaign director for the Alaska Rainforest Campaign in Anchorage, where he led a coalition campaign made up of national, state and local conservation groups to protect the Alaskan coastal rainforest from logging. From 1985 to 1990, he served as a staff attorney for the Southeast Alaska Conservation Council in Juneau, where he specialized in forest planning and National Environmental Policy Act litigation involving the Tongass and Chugach national forests.
