Criminal Law II

  • Typically offered every other year
Description: An introduction to federal criminal law, to include both doctrine and policy issues. Likely topics include federal criminal jurisdiction, narcotics trafficking, white collar crimes, organized crime and RICO, terrorism, and immigration. Up to 10% of the grade may be based on a short writing assignment, which will be evaluated on a pass/fail basis. There will be a final exam.

Note: Any student taking this class cannot take the Federal White Collar Crimes Seminar due to extensive overlap in subject.

Prerequisite: Criminal Law I.
