Advocacy and Historical Trauma: One Man’s Journey

This is a collaboration between a survivor of child sexual abuse and an experienced attorney to illustrate trauma-informed approaches to assist clients who are seeking a legal remedy as adults. The first 90 minutes of the presentation was pre-recorded but never aired; the survivor, his attorney, and a national crime victims’ rights expert will be available for a live Q&A following the broadcast of the recording.

MCLE Accreditation: 1.5 general MCLE credit will be sought with the Oregon State Bar and the State Bar of California. The training may be eligible for MCLE credit in other states; a certificate of attendance will be available after the program.

Cost: $55 for Basic NAVRA members/General Public; $36.85 for Enhanced NAVRA members
