After earning a bachelor’s degree in public affairs from Washington State University, Dmitriy Goloskinskiy undertook a multistate search for his ideal law school. He concluded Lewis & Clark Law School was it.

Born in Cherkassy, Ukraine, Goloskinskiy has lived in the Pacific Northwest most of his life. His career goal is to work at a mid- to large-size law firm in civil litigation or transactional work. As a law student, Goloskinskiy clerked at Vial Fotheringham LLP and worked as a research assistant for Professor Samir Parikh.

“Making a gift to the law school is an ideal way for me to give back to the local community,
he said. “My gift will assist those pursuing their legal educations—and also impact the community that receives their services when those students become attorneys.”

Goloskinskiy knows firsthand how important donor gifts can be. The Cornelius Honor Society member was the recipient of numerous scholarships himself, including Alumni Board of Directors Scholarship and the Candice Duboff Jones Scholarship.
