2021 Grads: 93.71% Employed or Pursuing Graduate Degree
Lewis & Clark Law School presented its 2021 employment statistics showing 93.71% of 2021 graduates as currently employed or pursuing further graduate education.

As of March 15, 2022, 93.71% of the 2021 grads were employed or pursuing a graduate degree within 10 months of graduation. Of that total, 98% are in a bar required or JD advantage position; 95% are confirmed to be in a full-time, long-term bar required or JD advantage position; 7.9% are judicial law clerks.
Graduates were employed in a wide range of organizations, agencies, businesses, and law firms, including Animal Legal Defense Fund, Defenders of Wildlife, Disability Rights Oregon, Northwest Justice Project, Oregon Crime Victims Law Center, Sierra Club, WildEarth Guardians; Oregon Supreme Court, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Southern Oregon Public Defender, Oregon Department of Justice, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Airforce JAG, Washington County District Attorney’s Office; Directors Guild of America, PGE, Schnitzer Steel, Vestas; Bullivant Houser Bailey, Davis Wright Tremaine, Dunn Carney, Fisher Phillips, Gordon & Rees Scully Mansukhani, Klarquist Sparkman, Lane Powell, Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, Ogletree Deakins, Perkins Coie, Schwabe Williamson & Wyatt, and Tonkon Torp.
“These employment numbers – at close to 94% – show the dedication of our career services team and our faculty to empower and support our graduates in their job search outreach,” said Dean Jennifer Johnson. “Both faculty and staff, ably led by our Assistant Dean for Career Services, Devra Hermosilla, have been focused on assisting our students with their career paths, and these numbers show we are succeeding in doing just that.”
