2024 Lezak Social Justice Fellows Named

The 2024 Lezak Social Justice Fellows are Elaine Morado ’26, Tanner Condit ’25, Stephanie Scheno ’25, and Zoe Fielden ’26. The Lezak Fellowship awards summer stipends to law students committed to community service and social justice.

Over the summer, Morado supported parole requests and legislative efforts at the Criminal Justice Reform Clinic. Condit joined the Alaska Public Defender Agency, representing misdemeanor clients in court. Scheno contributed to the Oregon Hate Crimes Project at the National Crime Victim Law Institute, while Fielden served as a law clerk at the Federal Public Defender for the District of Oregon in Portland.

The Lezak Social Justice Fellowship was established to honor the legacy of Sid Lezak, and supports students with mentorship as well as community service placements, continuing Lezak’s tradition.
