Shortly after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in early 2022, L&C’s Small Business Legal Clinic Professor Susan Felstiner has helped to develop a groundbreaking U.S.-Ukrainian Clinicians Workshop Series, fostering collaboration and skill-building to empower legal education in Ukraine.
Building on the relationships she developed, Felstiner has continued this collaborative work: in 2023, Ukrainian law students from two universities joined the Small Business Legal Clinic summer session virtually, and now she is working on student-to-student collaborations between U.S. and Ukrainian students for upcoming semesters.
