  • National Champions: Pace Environmental Moot Court Competition (Ninth time!)

It was Portland’s time to shine as well, thanks to the efforts of L&C’s Jo Perini-Abbott along with the University of Oregon School of Law, as the city hosted a round of the National Trial Competition Regional Mock Trial, bringing 22 mock trial teams to the Multnomah County courthouse to compete for the best trial team in the Pacific Northwest and two coveted spots to the national finals in Texas, where L&C teams placed third and fourth.
