Welcoming a New Leader for Admissions
Bryan Hinkle joined the law school this August as assistant dean of admissions.

Bryan Hinkle joined the law school this August as assistant dean of admissions. Previously he served as the assistant dean of enrollment management at Santa Clara University School of Law, and prior to that position, worked for Access Group (now AccessLex) and regularly visited Lewis & Clark to provide financial literacy training to its students. He has extensive experience in career services, financial aid, and accounts receivable. He frequently presents on the topics of law school admissions and financial aid for the Law School Admissions Council (LSAC), the West Coast Consortium of Private Law Schools (WCC), and other colleges and universities.
Hinkle was involved in the formation of the Community College Pathway to Law School Initiative in California, and worked closely with the leadership of LEAP (Legal Education Access Pipeline) to help launch the Northern California expansion of the LEAP program.
Hinkle earned his Juris Doctor in the evening, part-time program at Santa Clara University School of Law. He was among the first students to participate in the Northern California Innocence Project, and was awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Legal Analysis Research and Writing.
Originally from Southern California, Hinkle moved north to attend UC Santa Cruz, where he earned his bachelor’s degree and graduate certificate in theater arts. He performed in the touring company, Shakespeare to Go, and served on the programming board for KZSC, 88.1 FM, where he also provided local news coverage and served as a late-night disc jockey.
Lewis & Clark is delighted to welcome this talented individual to our leadership team.
