The Western Resources Legal Center (WRLC) offers a litigation practicum to L&C law students with hands-on legal training on behalf of natural resource users. This past year, students worked on an evaluation of wild horse management actions by the U.S. Forest Service, analyzing likely impacts to natural resource industry from the Supreme Court’s decision overturning Chevron deference in Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo (2024), state and federal regulations for use of pack animals on public lands, and energy law compliance and land use.
