Last spring’s environmental law symposium covered the impact of recent U.S. Supreme Court rulings on environmental law and policy. Professors and attorneys from around the country, plus local legal luminaries such as retired Oregon Supreme Court Justice Jack Landau, convened for panel discussions about resource protection, the future of climate justice, and effects of Loper Bright, in which the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the long-standing Chevron deference.
