Attorney Megan Rosen is the inaugural recipient of the Thomas Bloom Raskin Animal Protection Scholarship, enabling her to pursue her LLM in Animal Law.
This $10,000 tuition scholarship, established by a Lewis & Clark supporter, honors Thomas Bloom Raskin, a passionate animal advocate and son of Congressman Jamie Raskin and Sarah Bloom Raskin. It supports Animal Law master’s students who demonstrate academic excellence and commitment to animal law, prioritizing farmed animal protection.
Rosen, a Kentucky attorney, credits the scholarship with enabling her to pursue her dream without financial worry. She co-founded the Animal Law Section of the Kentucky Bar Association and hopes to use her LLM “to hopefully breathe new life into animal welfare in Kentucky.”
