Rebecca Ivanoff
Interim Director for Student and Employer Engagement
Becky Ivanoff is an Oregon-based lawyer, leader, and professional development coach with a broad range of experience in law practice and legal education. She is a seasoned litigator who has handled civil, criminal, and juvenile matters, and she served for over six years as a volunteer pro term judge with the Lane County Circuit Court. As a former domestic violence prosecutor, Becky is passionate about raising awareness around issues of stalking and domestic violence. In her current work, she leads a multi-disciplinary, multi-state team working to pass state and federal legislation designed to create greater safety for survivors.
It was Becky’s deep love of working with law students and newer professionals that first led her to transition to legal education in 2016. As Assistant Dean for Career Planning and Professional Development at the University of Oregon School of Law, she led a dynamic team focused on supporting students and newer graduates with all aspects of career exploration and professional identity formation. Although she returned to private practice in 2023, Becky remained dedicated to supporting Oregon’s next generation of lawyers and leaders, and she is thrilled to join our team on a part-time basis as the Interim Director for Student and Employer Engagement.
