Books are now available to be purchased in the bookstore. Currently 95% of Fall books are in, with the remainder arriving soon.

Remember that there is a 7 day return policy from the day you buy your texts.

If you plan on bringing in used casebooks to sell on consignment you may start bringing in those books August 10th. Please remember that these MUST be CURRENT EDITIONS ON THIS BOOK LIST. Used Study Aids are not being accepted to put on consignment- These may be brought 2 weeks AFTER classes start. Please see the used bookstore policy at the bottom of this page.

Lewis & Clark Law Bookstore Return Policy

All receipts must accompany all returns.

Credit card and debt card purchases will be refunded to the card used in the original purchase. Personal check  and cash purchases will be refunded in cash as it is available. Customers may be asked to wait for cash refunds on check and cash purchases.

Required class materials may be returned to the bookstore in their original condition within seven (7) days after purchase, as shown by the date on the receipts.

If a class is dropped, the class materials may be returned to the bookstore with a signed slip from the registrar stating that the class was dropped. Returns for dropped classes must be in their original condition and be returned within seven (7) days of dropping the course.

Nothing may be returned after the last day of classes (before finals begin) for the term regardless of time purchased.

Defective books may be exchanged at any time.

All used book purchases are final.

The bookstore reserves the right to make decisions on the salability of returned materials.

Used Books Policy

Used casebooks can be put on consignment three weeks before the beginning of the new semester, but they must be the current edition, as shown on the current term book list. If not sold they must be picked up two weeks after the start of the term or they will become property of the bookstore. 

Used study aids can be put on consignment two weeks after the semester begins. These can be one edition old. If not sold they must be picked up by the last day of finals for that term or they become property of the bookstore.

The bookstore takes a $3.00 handling fee for every book sold. It is the sellers' responsibility to check with bookstore during non-busy times for items sold or not sold.

All used book purchases are final.
