Barristers’ Ball

A black-tie event to close out the year in style and benefit the Roberta Phillip Scholarship!   Elegant venue in the Pearl, DJ, Food, Beer, and Wine.  $25 Presale.

• How donation works:  Each person who buys a ticket to the Barristers’ Ball will receive 12 credits that can be used on a flex-play system.  The credits may be used to either buy various types of drinks or may be donated back to SBA at the event, which will in turn donate $1 for each credit to the Roberta Phillip Scholarship for mentees who graduate from Rosemary Anderson High School and are going on to higher education.  Separate donations in the form of cash and checks (made out to “Lewis & Clark College”) are welcome too.
• Transportation: The Law School will provide a Campus Shuttle that will make it’s first departure from campus around 7pm and its last departure from the Urban Studio at 12:30am.  The Campus Shuttle will make a round approximately every half hour.  If taking the Street Car from downtown, 10th and Everett is the closest stop, which is just one block from the Urban Studio.
• Parking: Unenforced parking will be available on the Lewis & Clark campus starting at 7pm.  Urban Studio does not have dedicated parking, but there are street parking spots and parking garages available nearby.  If you will be drinking, please designate a driver to get home responsibly.
• What is in it for you as a student?: A chance to (1) Network with colleagues and with alumni; (2) To support your Portland community; and (3) To celebrate the end of the academic year in style!
• What is in it for you as an alumnus?: A chance to (1) Reconnect with the law school, its current students, and alumni; and (2) A chance to significantly contribute to the Portland community!
