Date: April 6 2010, 12:00pm - 1:00pm Location: Classroom 3
In 1992, activist Suzan Harjo led seven Native Americans in petitioning the USPTO to cancel six trademark registrations used by the Washington Redskins and owned by Pro-Football, Inc. The USPTO granted their petition, but the courts have blocked its decision.
Join the Native American Law Student Association (NALSA) and Intellectual Property Student Organization (IPSO) in welcoming Suzan Harjo to campus.
