Wendy J. Gordon Professor, Boston University School of Law Lectures on Copyright and Commodification
An internationally renowned copyright scholar, Professor Gordon’s articles include An Inquiry Into the Merits of Copyright (Stanford Law Review), Fair Use as Market Failure (Columbia Law Review), On Owning Information (Virginia Law Review), and A Property Right in Self-. She is a member of the editorial board of the Encyclopedia of Law and Economics, serves as the general secretary of the Society for Economic Research on Copyright Issues, and has chaired the IP section of the AALS. She is currently at work on a new book, entitled The Copyright Core: Examining the Economics and Ethics of Intellectual Property Law.
Professor Gordon will visit the Law School February 15 -19, speaking in a number of classes and interacting with students, faculty and members of the bench and bar in a variety of settings. Her public lecture is Monday, February 16, 7:30 p.m..
