Perspectives on the Practice of Business Law

Come get free food and hear about the actual practice of business law from three attorneys with diverse backgrounds and experiences.The attorneys have backgrounds in transactional business law, litigation, intellectual property and dealing with administrative agencies among their many other skills.

The visiting attorneys include:

Lee Kell (partner at Kell Alterman and Runstein) Mr. Kell has practiced law for more than 40 years and practice area includes acquisitions, employee benefits, real estate, contracts, and government relations. He is also a CPA and has found this to be invaluable in his practice.

Bill Pierznik (founder of the Alto Law Group) Mr. Pierznik is formerly an attorney at Stoel Rives and founded the Alto Law Group in 2006. He has a background in working with tech companies and intellectual property concerns. His firm focuses on providing business law services to companies at every stage of their development.

Katie Johnson ‘06 (associate McEwen Gisvold) Ms. Johnson is a graduate of Lewis and Clark Law School and now works as a litigation associate. She primarily focuses on real estate, business and construction litigation.
