Public Interest Law Project Info Meeting

Date: August 31 2011, 12:00pm - 1:00pm Location: McCarty Classroom Complex - Classroom 3

Hey there awesome 1Ls! Did you come to Lewis and Clark with a passion for the public good? Join the Public Interest Law Project in supporting public service work through summer stipends and Loan Repayment Assistance. PILP coordinates volunteer opportunities, networking events, speakers, and, above all, works to fundraise all year through various fun events like Karaoke with Professors and a Poker Tournament, all culminating in our annual Auction in March.  And WE NEED YOU! All students interested in public interest law and students who want to apply for a summer stipend to do public interest work are encouraged to come to the meeting to learn more about PILP and our plans for the coming year. **Lunch will be provided**

Do you really really love the public interest? PILP also needs 1L Executive Board reps! Four lucky 1Ls will get to join the Board and do their own fundraising projects! Applications are available by the PILP office; the deadline is September 6th at 5pm. Questions?  Contact Emily Campbell, PILP President (pilp@lclark.edu)
