Career Services

Libby Davis

Congratulations on your admission to Lewis & Clark Law School from the Career & Professional Development Center (CPDC)!

I am Libby Davis ‘93, Associate Dean for CPDC and Alumni Relations. Tracy Sullivan ‘00, the Director of CPDC, Bill Penn ‘02, the Director of Public Interest Law, and Erin Synder ‘09, Associate Director, work with me to assist students and graduates in career planning and setting up job search strategies.

Between us, we have extensive experience counseling students and working with employers and alumni. After law school, I practiced in the Portland area and have been working in CPDC for more than 17 years. Before joining CPDC, Tracy was a judicial clerk, a litigator, and worked in the Admissions Office. Bill joined us during the fall of 2007, after several years of practice and volunteer service, and has quickly become an excellent resource for students interested in public interest careers. Erin clerked for an Oregon Court of Appeals judge and was an appellate lawyer with the Office of Public Defense Services prior to joining our team.

Our office is here to provide you with myriad services from the moment you enter law school to the day you graduate, and beyond. We offer classes, personal counseling, application materials review, job postings, job fairs, mentor programs, and a wide variety of additional programs and resources to help you explore employment opportunities not only here in Oregon, but in other states and countries as well.

Please let me know what questions you have!

Best Regards,
Libby Davis
