The Class of 1921 has 16 graduates. -
The Sherlock Building, in downtown Portland, houses the law school from 1924 to 1950. -
In 1926, Mary Jane Spurlin ’24 becomes Oregon’s first female judge when she is appointed by the governor to fill out another judge’s term. She presides over the District Court of Multnomah County for one year but loses her bid to win election to a full term.
