Stacie Damazo ’19

Stacie Damazo (’19) is a member of Barran Liebman LLP’s employment advice and litigation practices. She defends employers in a variety of employment matters, while serving as proactive counsel to ensure compliance and identify legal issues before they arise.

In addition to her existing employment law experience, before joining the Barran Liebman team, Stacie developed a diverse background in personal injury, real estate, and agriculture, food, and natural resources law. Before starting in private practice, she served as an Extern to the Honorable Magistrate Judge Stacie F. Beckerman of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. As she earned her JD, cum laude, Stacie was also actively involved in student groups and campus activities. Stacie served as Lewis & Clark Law School’s Student Bar Association President, Executive Editor of Environmental Law, and Business Law Society board member.

Stacie continues to believe in the value of community involvement and professional development. In addition to serving on the Lewis & Clark Law School Alumni Board and as a volunteer mentor in the school’s Attorney Mentor Program, Stacie currently serves as a Board Member for the Oregon Women Lawyers Multnomah County (Queen’s Bench) Chapter and as a member of the Oregon State Bar Civil Rights Section’s Executive Committee. She also serves as Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division’s Litigation Committee and serves on the Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia Northwest Ambassador Board. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and camping, and is an avid Portland Timbers fan.
