Carrie Ng ’22

Carrie Ng is an Attorney-Adviser at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and interprets and applies the Federal Power Act, Natural Gas Act, National Environmental Policy Act, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and other laws in orders and memoranda addressing energy project development applications. Prior to working at FERC, Carrie clerked with the Honorable Eric J. Bloch at the Multnomah County Circuit Court and volunteered as a board member with the National Small Business Utility Council.

During law school, Carrie gained practical work experience in energy and environmental matters at the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office, Small Business Utility Advocates, Oregon Department of Justice, and Earthrise Law Center. She also externed with the Honorable Judge Michael W. Mosman at the District Court of Oregon and the Honorable Judge Robyn R. Aoyagi at the Oregon Court of Appeals. Carrie was involved with the Northwest Environmental Defense Center throughout law school, and NEDC has a special place in her heart.

In her free time, Carrie enjoys trying new restaurants, wheel throwing, and playing board games.
