The Cornelius Honor Society’s Newest Inductees Continue a Legacy of Excellence

Thirty-six graduating students have been honored with membership in the Cornelius Honor Society following their dedicated work in the classroom and around campus.

June 02, 2025

Dorothy L. Cornelius served Lewis & Clark’s Law School for twenty years, first as a secretary and other various roles, to her final position as Dean of Admissions and Registrar, a title that she held until her retirement in 1975. Honoring her dedication to the school and its students, membership in the coveted Cornelius Honor Society is now awarded annually to Lewis & Clark Law students who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service.

The honor is bestowed by faculty and staff who nominate students who go above and beyond in serving the law school and their fellow classmates.
