Experience abroad can be a transformative part of legal education. Lewis & Clark students have many opportunities to study and work abroad for academic credit.
Lewis & Clark has partnerships with the summer study abroad programs at the University of San Diego and Santa Clara University as well as with the China Summer Law Program at the University of Missouri Kansas City.
Students can also earn transferable credit through any ABA-accredited study abroad program. See the ABA’s list.
Lewis & Clark partners with several law schools abroad, which supports the exchange of students between institutions for entire semesters at a time.
Work experience is essential to building confidence with your new legal skills. Lewis & Clark students interested in an international practice have opportunities to obtain relevant practical work experience in the United States or abroad.
