Experience abroad can be a transformative part of legal education. Lewis & Clark students have many opportunities to study and work abroad for academic credit.
Lewis & Clark has partnerships with the summer study abroad programs at the University of San Diego and Santa Clara University. Students can also earn transferable credit through any ABA-accredited study abroad program. See the ABA’s list.
Lewis & Clark partners with several law schools abroad, which supports the exchange of students between institutions for entire semesters at a time.
Work experience is essential to building confidence with your new legal skills. Lewis & Clark students interested in an international practice have opportunities to obtain relevant practical work experience in the United States or abroad.
