What does public sector labor law and union contract law say about providing both fairness and accountability for Portland’s police? Professor Henry Drummonds will summarize and discuss how labor law and union contracts often determine these issues under Oregon law. He will be joined by long-time Portland Police Association Attorney Will Aitchison, and Law Professor and former Associate Dean of Equity and Inclusion Janet Steverson, in a discussion focusing on the Portland police collective bargaining agreement and related questions including prospects for reform.
