James E. Bailey III

James E. Bailey III was a law professor at Lewis & Clark Law School from 1992-2001. During his tenure at Lewis & Clark, Bailey was awarded the Leo Levenson Award for Excellence in Teaching two consecutive years in 1999 and 2000.

Bailey received a Bachelor of Science (’77), an M.A (’80), and a JD (’85) from Louisiana State University. In 2000, Mr. Bailey received a Fulbright Scholarship to lecture and study in Japan. Upon his return to the United States, Bailey returned to the full-time practice of law in Bend, Oregon.
