The Harmon Family Scholarship is an annual scholarship established in 2021 to recognize and support first-generation college students pursuing a law degree with Lewis & Clark Law School. This scholarship will be awarded to at least one incoming student with preference given to first-generation students (defined as a student whose parents have not graduated from an institute of higher education with a four-year degree) and who have demonstrated financial need.
The Harmon Family Scholarship was created by Mr. Dan Harmon (JD ’85) a first-generation student himself, to offer support to incoming first-generation students. At the same time, Mr. Harmon wished to create a community challenge, to encourage others to join him in maintaining this annual scholarship. Mr. Harmon is joined by a group of dedicated and generous law school donors who also recognize the tremendous value of continued education and pursuing an advanced degree.
The Development & Alumni Office is located in room 301 of Legal Research Center on the Law Campus.
