$5,000+ annually or $100,000 lifetime giving

Lewis & Clark Law School Gantenbein Society

Over sixty years, 1903 to 1965, the Gantenbein family left its imprint on Lewis & Clark Law School. Family members served as students, professors, registrar, dean, trustee, and proprietors, advancing the school in prosperous years and buoying it in waning times.

Dean John Gantenbein was passionate not only about the law, but about mentoring great lawyers. His passion extended to financial commitments, including loans to students and numerous personal sacrifices that kept the law school alive in its early years. Above all, Dean Gantenbein believed that to live the life of the law fully, lawyers must join their hearts and their minds.

Exemplify Dean Gantenbein and his family and become a member of the Gantenbein Society by giving $5,000 annually or by reaching a lifetime giving total of $100,000. You’ll join a group of loyal alumni and friends who are among the most steadfast supporters of the law school, funding scholarships for incoming students and supporting other critical needs.
