Meghan is an MSL in Animal Law candidate interested in advancing policy to make a more just, compassionate food system. She received a bachelor’s in Political Science and Comparative History of Ideas with a focus in Critical Human and Nonhuman Animal Studies from the University of Washington, where she served as co-president of Campus Animal Rights Educators. After graduation, Meghan served as the Seattle Director for Factory Farming Awareness Coalition, where she taught high school and college students about the holistic and intersectional impacts of our food system on humans, nonhuman animals, and the environment.
