Biography
Susan Morgenstern has taught the practice of low-income taxpayer representation at Temple and Cornell Law Schools. Her career also includes close to four decades at the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, and two positions with the Taxpayer Advocate Service as a Local Taxpayer Advocate and as the acting manager for the National Taxpayer Advocate’s attorney advisory group. She was a senior attorney at the Center for Taxpayer Rights. She is vice chair, pro bono, for the American Bar Association Tax Section and is the 2021 recipient of the Tax Section’s Janet Spragens Pro Bono Award.
