Business Law Luncheon
Each year the Business Law Spring Luncheon is an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of our students and to thank the many members of the community who lend their time, resources, and talents to the curricular and extracurricular activities of the Business Law Program.
This year as we celebrate the 23nd anniversary of the program, we will honor Ambyr O’Donnell, of the class of ’01, as our Distinguished Business Law Graduate. Ambyr has dedicated her career to advising technology companies. In 2013, she was named one of the Association of Corporate Counsel’s “Top 10 30-Somethings.” She has served as a chair of the Business law Section of the Oregon State Bar and on other executive committees and law school boards. Ambyr joined Tripwire in 2010 as its first in-house lawyer. Tripwire is a cybersecurity software company with its headquarters in Portland. She currently serves as Tripwire’s vice president and general counsel. Prior to joining Tripwire, Ambyr was senior corporate counsel for Coverity, Inc., which was later acquired by Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics Corporation, which was later acquired by Siemens. The business law faculty bestows this award annually to a graduate of the Law School who has demonstrated exemplary leadership, has made a positive mark on the legal or business profession, and whose accomplishments have brought honor and distinction to the Law School.
The Spring Luncheon was held at the Sentinel Hotel in Portland on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 12:00p.m. to 1:30p.m.
