Business Law Luncheon
Each year the Business Law Spring Luncheon is an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of our students and to thank the many members of the community who lend their time, resources, and talents to the curricular and extracurricular activities of the Business Law Program.
This year as we celebrate the 22nd anniversary of the program, we will honor Steven Hedberg, of the class of ’84, as our Distinguished Business Law Graduate. Steve is Chief Operating Officer at Perkins Coie. He is the firm’s most senior business professional responsible for all aspects of operations and strategic growth, Steve oversees all professional staff throughout the United States and Asia. Prior to becoming Chief Operating Officer, Steve was a partner at Perkins Coie for more than two decades and focused his practice on bankruptcy law. The business law faculty bestows this award annually to a graduate of the Law School who has demonstrated exemplary leadership, has made a positive mark on the legal or business profession, and whose accomplishments have brought honor and distinction to the Law School.
