Who Are We
Writing Specialist Hillary Gell graduated from Harvard Law School in 2010 and is admitted to the bar in Massachusetts. During law school, she focused her research on topics at the intersection of law and psychology, her undergraduate major area of study. These topics included medical decision making by minors, peer mediation and bullying, and the duty to warn as it relates to suicide on college campuses. She has taught Legal Research & Writing at many schools in Massachusetts and most recently at Willamette University College of Law in Oregon. She also works as an LSAT tutor and advises law school applicants on the preparation of their personal statements, resumes, and other materials.
Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Teaching Fellow Caroline Taylor is a 2015 graduate of Willamette University. Her undergraduate studies focused on the International Criminal Court and how it communicates its legitimacy as an institution. Prior to law school, she worked as a legal assistant at a local law firm doing personal injury work. She is passionate about using grammar to distill complex ideas when writing and has been a daily blog reader for over 13 years. She is active in several student groups on campus and hopes to pursue a practice in civil rights litigation.
Law School Writing Center is located in room 128C of Wood Hall on the Law Campus.
