NCVLI’s legal team has responded to eight requests for assistance from attorneys working with human trafficking victims in recent weeks. The requests range from assistance establishing effective screening for human trafficking, to how victims can report to law enforcement after escape and to how to secure immigration relief. The technical assistance provided included compilations of best practices, legal research and strategic advice.
