Earthrise files amicus brief to protect waters in Indiana

Earthrise stayed busy over the holidays, filing a brief on behalf of the National Parks Conservation Association asking a federal district court in Indiana to reject a proposed settlement between the federal government, the state of Indiana and U.S. Steel Corporation involving a hexavalent chromium wastewater spill in 2017 that caused the closure of beaches in Indiana Dunes National Park.
