No student may use or access any form of generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology during an exam, unless expressly authorized by the professor teaching the class for which the exam is being taken.

Exam Security Access:  Secure

Secure: The exam-taker has no access to computer files nor to the internet. Student will not be able to access E-Textbook

Availability of Exam Questions: A paper copy of exam questions to be provided. Exam to be taken on campus ONLY.

Authorized Materials and Secondary Devices:

Students may use two pages (2 single-sided or 1 double-sided sheets of 8.5x11-inches paper) of printed notes as aides when you taking the exam.  They may use any font that they can read without the use of atypical aides –i.e., they may use reading glasses, but they may not use a magnifying glass or other magnification technology. They must write their exam number on their notes and turn their notes in with their printed exam when the when the exam has ended.

Except for the two pages of notes, students may not use any other written or digital materials when taking this exam. Except for the computer on which they take the exam, they may not have any additional devices (such as cellphones, tablets, etc.) in the exam room with you. They may not consult any materials or digital devices during the time they are taking the exam (i.e., they may not exit the exam room to consult any materials).

No, students may not use secondary devices during the exam.

This includes but not limited to: additional cell phone, tablet, computer or other similar devices.
