Marcy B. Hertzmark Memorial Scholarship

Marcy Hertzmark was an alumna of the Law School who passed away in 1989. Marcy dedicated much of her professional life to the causes of women, minorities, and indigent criminal defendants. She employed her legal background in service to others.

To carry on Marcy’s efforts, her former classmates, friends, and family established a scholarship fund to train women to be advocates. Preference is given to a female law student who exhibits interest and activity in the furtherance of social justice and equality for groups and/or individuals, including interest and activity in social work, civil rights, education, and physical and mental health.
