Rebecca Richman Memorial Scholarship

The Rebecca Richman ’19 Memorial Scholarship was established in October, 2021 to honor Rebecca Richman, who died tragically in the fall of 2019 alongside her brother, Michael ’16. While in law school, Becca served as the Business Editor of Lewis & Clark’s Animal Law Review and was a passionate advocate for clients of the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC).

Becca’s scholarship is awarded to an advanced student in the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic who best embodies the qualities of Becca: a commitment to public interest work and helping people in need, a passion for animals, a keen sense of humor, a love of baking and cooking, and an adventurous spirit. It is intended to recognize an individual who goes above and beyond the minimum requirements of the LITC, serving as a champion for their clients in a way that transcends pure legal representation.
