Day of the Ceremony Information
Arrival: We encourage guests to arrive to campus by 9:30am in order to ensure enough time to find parking, walk or take the shuttle to the Pamplin Sports Center, and to find seating. The ceremony will start promptly at 11:00am.
Shuttle Vans: Shuttle vans will run from the various campus parking lots starting at 9:00am on commencement day. There are no shuttles from hotels to the campus. The Pioneer Express (shuttle bus) will not be running on commencement day.
Post-ceremony Reception: Family and friends are invited to attend the post-ceremony dessert reception, which will be held at the Law School immediately following the conclusion of the ceremony.
Refreshments: Coffee, tea, and water will be provided before and during the commencement ceremony.
Quick Map: Looking for Pamplin Sports Center? From most places on campus, you will be able to see the steeple of the Agnes Flanagan Chapel. Pamplin is located to the northeast of the chapel—a very short distance away.
Bookstore: The Lewis & Clark Law School Bookstore will be open on Commencement Saturday from 1:00pm - 3:00pm following the ceremony.
Family Pets: We adore our dogs, cats, and other pets, but we kindly request that you leave your family pets at home the day of the commencement ceremony. (Pets are not allowed in the Pamplin Sports Center and there are no pet-safe areas available immediately outside of the arena.)
