Temba Allan Sitati received our International Advocates Animal Law LLM Scholarship. Temba graduated with a Bachelors of Law from the University of Nairobi and holds post-graduate diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. He practiced briefly in civil and commercial litigation before joining the Kenyan Judiciary where he currently serves as a magistrate where he adjudges many criminal cases involving wildlife offenses. He was trained as a Certified Professional Mediator by the Mediation Training Institute of East Africa (affiliate of Mediation Training Institute (MTI) International USA).

“In 2015, on the recommendation of the Board of Trustees of the Kenya Wildlife Service, I was appointed by the government of Kenya to be a Honorary Warden of the Kenya Wildlife Service for the purposes of assisting in the carrying out of the provisions of the Wildlife Conservation and Management Act No. 47 of 2013- protection of the environment and conservation of wild flora and fauna. I am currently pursuing a LLM in Animal Law under the Center for Animal Law Studies’ International Advocates Scholarship program.”
