Dennis Treacy ’83, is the Executive Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer at Smithfield Foods, where he directs numerous company-wide efforts that have earned Smithfield a national reputation as an industry leader, particularly in the areas of environmental stewardship, animal welfare and sustainability. He previously served as the director of the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality.
