Rachel graduated with a JD from Lewis & Clark Law School magna cum laude in 2013. She was a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship for academic merit and earned the Oregon State Bar Securities Section Scholarship. She served as associate editor of Environmental Law Review and was a member of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA) and the Business Law Society.

Rachel Atchison is a partner at Tonkon Torp specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions and real estate transactions. As a law student, Rachel was a summer associate for two summers at Tonkon Torp and then spent over 7 years at the firm before she joined the partnership on January 1, 2021. Rachel describes drafting and negotiation as solving a puzzle, and she enjoys working on agreements for her clients.
